Woman cancels her 'Galentine's Day' plans with friends so she could go on a date with girlfriend instead, friends take offense, insisting she ditches her girlfriend: 'They're making me feel guilty'
We all know that Valentine's Day is an emotionally charged holiday. It doesn't matter if you are single or if you are in a long-term committed relationship, Valentine's Day tends to bring drama along with it, and absolutely no one is safe from it.
In recent years, a new player has entered the game, and that is what people, especially young single women, like to call Galentine's Day. Galentine's Day is, as you may expect, a way for single women to deal with the fact that they don't have a date for Valentine's Day. Instead, they plan Galentine's Day and use this day as an opportunity to celebrate their friendships with other single ladies.
You would expect Galentine's Day to only be celebrated by single gals who don't have any other romantic plans on the day, but apparently, that is not the case. As the young women in the story below prove, some expect this new holiday to take a higher priority over Valentine's Day, regardless of whether you're single or not.
